Segment 1: Basketball

• WVU loses to TCU on 02/21, 77-67
  • Taz Sherman joined the 1,000 point club
  • That made 11 losses in 12 games
  • Jamie Dixon was so far out on the court in this game at certain points had he shot it it would've been a 2 pointer
• WVU loses to Iowa State, 84-81
  • Gabe tosses in a buzzer beating 3 at the half. No, really.
  • The officials were honestly horrendous in this game.
    • Iowa State was in the bonus with 12:00 remaining...
  • The ending to this game was just terrible. Spending a final timeout because of being trapped in the corner of the backcourt followed by inbounding under your own basket where it's stolen and scored for the game winning points. Huggs said "they didn't do what I asked them to do, twice".
  • Huggs Postgame:
    • We have guys that have their own agenda
    • Iowa State's Brockington going after the same guy every time
    • Not locked in late
  • WVU 1st half point differential: -8. 2nd half point differential: -101.
  • Gabe had a career high 19
• WVU loses to Texas, 82-81

  • Brock Cunningham was ejected for once again being Brock Cunningham

  • Scored 38 runs in these first 4 games

• Moved to 5-1 with their recent win over Charlotte
• WVU is 5-2 after their series with Charlotte
• They open up at home on Tuesday at 3pm at Wagener Field at Monongalia County Ballpark
  • Which did get renamed back in the Fall for the Wagener family who made to the athletic dept.
  • Rick Wagener played at WVU... played in the Mets organization... and was one of the founders of Heavy Seas Brewing in Maryland...

• The Brooklyn Nets cut Jevon Carter. I think he's expected to sign (if he hasn't already) with the Milwaukee Bucks.
