Segment 1: WVU loses the Backyard Brawl, 38-31
- The Backyard Brawl sets a new Pittsburgh sports attendance record: 70,622
- The big discussion out of this game continues to be the decision to punt on 4th and inches in the 4th qtr, but there were plenty of other things that didn’t help this outcome.
- And even that decision not to run has its defenders.
- …but people really aren’t happy about it.
- True Freshman RB CJ Donaldson piled up 125 yards on 7 (!) carries.
- Charles Woods ended the game on the sideline with a boot on his foot.
- HCNB was chasing the referees down post-game.
- Said he thought we “represented ourselves pretty well on national tv” (which is cringe worthy)
- Several WVU skill players were wearing prescription amber contact lenses.

- Shane Lyons got into a shouting match with a Pitt Staffer after game
- Players were pushing and shouting all the way up the tunnel after the game
- Pitt players were yelling “Eat S&$% West Virginia” after the game
- HCNB post game “he was heated”
- “Dont ask me what a catch is or what targetting is, cause I don’t know what they are anymore”
- “I would have made the same decision again” on the 4th and 1
