- It is their longest Losing streak. They have never lost 8 in a row!

Segment 1: Basketball
- WVU loses at Baylor, 81-77
- This was a great game as WVU took an 8 point lead into halftime mainly due to a 16-1 run during the last 4:30 of the half.
- This shot from Sean McNeil was spectacular.
- Baylor ended with 24 second-chance points. WVU had 2.
- Taz Sherman leaves late in the 2nd after taking a blow to the jaw while driving.
- Huggs said he was the best player on the floor, and didn't want to go into detail on how he felt about how Sherman got hurt.
- Only the 6th time under Huggs where WVU lost while shooting above 50%.
- Huggs post-game:
- Still optimistic, says he's proud of the team and their effort.
- Noted that Taz was "laying in there with a concussion".
- Wasn't happy that "they didn't even stop the play".
- "Really competed."
- Told the team had they competed like this all along they wouldn't be having a losing streak.
- Insinuates that the refs were behind the rebounding issues.
- Somehow WVU moved up a few spots to number 61 in the NET rankings.
- WVU loses to Texas Tech at home, 60-53 in front of 12k fans
- It was announced pre-game that Taz Sherman would remain out (concussion).
- Paulicap got the crowd up with a nice put-back dunk.
- Jalen Bridges was on fire in the first half with 16, then vanished in the 2nd half.
- That first half production as more than he'd had in the previous two games combined.
- WVU has the 9th worst shooting performance EVER in this loss.
- Post-game box score (if you're just a glutton for punishment).
- Huggs post-game:
- WVU now stares at a 9 game remaining stretch where they have to find some wins (how many are on there?)
- WVU now finds themselves last in the Big 12 with a conference record of 2-7.
