- But… Shane Lyons fired after nearly 8 years at WVU (Luck did it for 5, Ed Pastilong 21yrs)
- WVU announces Monday AM that Shane Lyons has resigned as WVU Athletic Director
- Press release says that there will be no changes to the football staff until after new AD is hired and can review the coaching situation
- Does this mean that WVU didn’t want Shane to hire the next coach?
- Rob Alsop(pn: ‘all-sop’), vice president for strategic initiatives, is the interim director of athletics
- Says they anticipate a new AD in place in the next 3 weeks
- Billy Hahn suggests Bob Huggins as the new AD

- GG’s touchdown pass to BFW was on a rope
