Summary

Join us for all this and more on this week's episode of Got Your Eers On?...!
Show Notes:
INTRO:
- WVU loses by another field goal margin to Texas Tech, 23-20
Segment 1:
1st Half
- Daryll Talley's number 90 officially retired pre-game!
- Tech moving the ball pretty easy.
- Thankfully, they try a dumb trick play, Mahone with the interception.
- The offense promptly wastes this turnover, punt.
- TT marching again a little too easily and score their first td.
- Gmiter gets beat on the next possession, strip sack of Doege, Tech ball.
- Hard to blame this one on Doege. He had no idea that guy was closing in on him.
- Tech seems to just be executing a good game plan on O and on D they aren’t asked to do too much except guard 5 yards from the line of scrimmage to each side.
- It's early, but this game has the feel of spelling the end of climb trusting across the board...
- Oh look. First downs. With Greene in the game. Interesting.
- Anyone know if TT is missing any key players? ESPN loves a talking point. They only need one to run with.
- Greene stole home in high school?
- Frazier with an untimely false start penalty.
- Brown visibly frustrated with Greene in the camera shot to commercial after the series turned over on downs, which is odd since we never see that from him with Doege.
- At least we got a few first downs?
- Defense can’t stop anything here...
- We feel like Brown needs an intervention on his use of Doege...
- Rushing 3 and then still giving up chunks.
- This is bad football.
- 17-0. This is embarrassing.
2nd Half
- Jay Jacobs recognized at halftime with a lifetime service award.
- Defense needs to defense.
- Whole team looks unprepared, really.
- Lots of patting yourself on the back since Norman?
- Wasted a timeout, but scored. Yay? Crowd boos prior.
- O line getting eaten alive here.
- Suddenly...we know how to pass down field...honestly can’t believe it.
- Then a td pass to Esdale where I cannot believe the pass was there and I cannot believe he was able to hold on after taking a massive hit.
- Who lit a fire under Doege?
- Two passes that I didn’t think were possible.
- Camera crew struggling.
- Also struggling: Nester and the O line.
- Timeouts always a challenge aren’t they...
- This team is a mess. I am frustrated with the mess. I don’t see them doing anything to clean up the mess!
- Doege missed Wright early and Leddie late. Like, at least just pick one, but not both.
- I hate football...
- Completed pass to Edsale, small chance. Instead of killing it and getting a new play in you snap and stand and let 0:08 run off the clock?!
- An all around disaster, horrible loss.
- Texas Tech sings "Country Roads" in the visitors locker room.
Post-game:
"Tweets that moved us" post-game:
Trapezoid of Evil Update
- Pitt beat Georgia Tech to move to 4-1.
- Virginia Tech was off, so no one had to be subjected to that.
- Maryland got completely housed by Iowa, 51-14, for their first loss.
- Penn State blanked Indiana to move to 5-0.
