On this week's Got Your Eers On?, IT IS A BYE WEEK! We look back on a completely horrible loss to Baylor and start to talk about how hot is Coach Brown's seat getting! What needs to happen during the off week to get better? We invite our Intern Cloney to learn how to speak 'West Virginianese' and Scoot drops a CBME about Climbing Trees for DAYS!

Segment 1: WVU vs Baylor, Loss, 45-20

1st Half

• I hate Football
• Well, I’ll put another log on the fire at camp
• That’s about as weak a pass coverage as I’ve seen
• Neal is pissed. He is yelling at the ref!
• Like how do you not know what play you are running. First play of the game.
• Sean Ryan practicing tip drill.
• Gawd, Baylor’s unis are ugly.
• Deep ball is killing us. Other teams can do that and we can’t.
  • Bohanon floats a little. But when you give that much space in coverage. It doesn’t matter.
  • I can see why the D would be confused as he keeps play actioning to air…
• Just terrible. Defense coming out looking bad in 1st half 2 weeks in a row.
• Int. Greene better be in next series.
  • Brown says nothing as he comes off the field.
  • Don’t wanna hurt Doege’s feelings as he comes off the field
  • He can play in his 6th year.
• How lost is our defense right now?
• So essentially we will have lost this game in the first quarter.
• We are getting worse every week. How is that happening?
  • Trust the climb. This is all part of the process.
• Defense looks like they had no clue what Baylor would be doing today. Offense just looks like…the regular offense.
• Down multiple scores. Let’s warm up the screens!
• Can they block anyone?
  • Nester having a rough go.
• I like running Garrett Greene on for one play where he’s obviously running it or handing off, having that play gain about 1 yard, and then immediately running him off so I guess you can check the box that you used him…
• Nice sack by Dante.
• Defense finally woke up and looked like themselves for a series. We certainly needed that stop.
• This team just has no identity right now.
• What’s funny to me is every announcer seems to feel the same as the fans about Greene.
• Bohanon floats his passes but these guys are so wide open.
• What do we do all week? To come out this lost. This is like worst case on top of last week.
• BFW out of Witness Protection.
• 5 carries. 19 yards...
• Slants there all day with baylor being this aggressive with the rush. And by being aggressive I mean just running in unblocked.
• This offense is crazy vanilla.
  • Vanilla is too tasty.
  • The tofu offense.
• Someone was helping HCNB find a new position at halftime.
• Estrada hasn’t had this much action since the CHiPs wrap party in 1983.
• They have 322 total yards…
• Thornton for them has 4 receptions 152 yards and 2 td.
• HCNB. “struggling on coverage and not blocking them up front”. Talking to signal caller going into locker room.
• First half we allowed an average of 9yd per play to Baylor.
• Baylor jumps out 21-7 in the 1st quarter and it is gone
• Baylor leads 28-10 at the half.
• HCNB chooses not to use a timeout with the ball before half.
  • No confidence in the offense?
  • Can't take them with you.

2nd Half

• Never in it.
• “Doege isn’t known for his athleticism.”: Fox commentary .
• I want to see Neal Brown wear some Pit Vipers!
• Leddie has to love when Greene comes in.
• BFW’s reaction to that pass is all you need to know about how the WR feel about Doege.
• It was like we weren’t even ready for our own on sides kick.
• Let’s face it too…2-4 and looking at 2-more…just commit to Greene and the future or stay with Doege and let us know you’re riding it into the abyss…
• If Greene doesn’t get played the rest of the way he should seriously look to transfer.
• O-line is getting worse too.
  • Trying to get Doege killed.
  • Everyone is getting worse. Why?
• Greene currently 1 rush 18 yards.
  • 2/3 passing 5 yards.
• Tony just said on the radio broadcast with a sense of wonderment…. “Jarret Doege remains the QB for this series”
• Haha. TC just said “hey maybe Baylor will play with only 10 men on the field for the rest of the game”
  • 11th running off the field. HILARIOUS.
• This season will hurt recruiting.
• Thornton 187 yards receiving. And it’s not the 4th quarter. Smith averaging 8.3 yards per carry.
• Some people are now certain Neal Brown is taking part in a social experiment on WVU fans.
• Feels like the 2013 season.
• Greene with a great throw on the run.
  • Greene’s fingers are bleeding pretty good.
  • He’s a gamer.
• Green plays a lot of the 4th qrt... scores in junk time against Baylors 3rd stringers.
• Brown gets 3.8mil a year and gets a raise next year.

Post-game:

• Doege - 237 yards passing -23 rushing
• Leddie 44 Rushing Yards
• Green 70 rushing gained with a net of 55... -15 on the sack
• Bohanon - 336 passing yards with 4tds
• Tyquan Thortnton - 187 yards on 8 receptions (he was uncovered most of the game!)
• HCNB:
  • Bad Football in every phase
  • Tyquan Thornton We didn't cover Thorton today... He may out there still running
  • We didn't get it done in the other games....we were never in this game
  • Struggled to cover baylor
  • Right Side didn't block and we didn't block them
  • There didn't send much and we didn't block them
  • Hard to talk about improvements when you watched today.
  • Wyatt Milan hurt and didn't play
  • Poor officiating but don't want to talk about that

"Tweets that moved us" post-game:

• Season is lost. Give Greene or Crowder time during the bye and into TCU.
• Baylor D came in with 6 total sacks. Had 6 more alone today.
• It's been all downhill since coming close to the Big 12 title in 2018.
• Is it due to who HCNB inherited?
• Same old stuff, only now we're also boring to watch.
